Architecture photography of Larmon Warehouse renovated by J. Kokolakis

Recently I had the privilege to photograph the renovations that J. Kokolakis did for the Advisar Residential Door Company who recently purchased the old Larmon Furniture warehouse building in Ybor City, FL (Tampa).

Launched in June 2017, is the industry’s first online manufacturer direct, high service and low touch, door system ordering platform. By allowing customers to select, quote, order and pay online, they bring unprecedented ease and speed to the door-buying process.

History of Larmon Furniture:

This building was originally build in the 1946 and had several additions added to it over the years.  Larmon Furniture has stood on the same street corner at 7th Avenue and 14th Street in Ybor City where it was founded eight decades ago. Started in 1931 as Friday and Larmon Furniture by Rubel Larmon and his business partner, David Friday, the company is Tampa’s oldest family furniture business.

The Contractor:

Kokolakis Contracting is a leader among commercial contractors nationwide. From local municipalities to large Federal clients, Kokolakis has built some of the most visible architectural landmarks in the country, creating a strong foundation with solid relationships.
